In the circumstances reported by the Commissioner of Treasuries and Accounts in the reference second cited, under the scheme Tamil Nadu Government Employees Special Provident Fund-Cum-Gratuity - 1984, the Interest amount of Rs.45,188/- is revised as Rs.42,228/- by deducting the subscription amount of Rs.2960/-. Hence, the total amount eligible for payment towards Government Contribution, subscription and interest as on 30.06.2022 is Rs.55,188/-

In the reference 5th cited, the Government issued a clarification regarding TNGESPF interest calculation and also used revised interest calculation working sheet up to 30.06.2022. A copy of letter is enclosed. Therefore, all PAO'S / TO's /ATO's are requested to follow the instructions used in the Government letter 5th cited without any deviation.
